Steven Hake, MD

Habitat: Alright, Steve. Let's get right to it. You are a doctor, right?
Steve: Yes. A radiologist.
Habitat: That must work with your playing style. Just in case you break something on an opponent.
Steve: (Laughs) No. That hasn't happened...yet.
Habitat: How long have you been playing?
Steve: 5 years. Recreational, not competitive.
Habitat: What do you like better, singles or doubles?
Steve: Both for different reasons. Singles because you control your own destiny. Doubles because I like the netplay and the speed.
Habitat: You are a true tennis renaissance man. What's your favorite shot?
Steve: Forehand, definitely. I do most of my damage with that shot.
Habitat: Literally or figuratively speaking?
Steve: (Blank look) Next question.
Habitat: Uh..OK. What improvement is needed in recreational tennis?
Steve: More courts. No question. Development is making more courts disappear every year.
Habitat: 1 final question. What is a good tennis day for Dr. Steve?
Steve: Winning a few points against the young bucks. That makes it all worth it.
Habitat: Thanks, Steve.
